Custom Homes,
Built Around How You Live
Princeton Homes designs and builds custom homes around the Greater Charlotte Area, shaped by the way you live, gather, and relax. Co-founder and builder Martha Landis set the standard that every Princeton Homes project is built to.
A Custom Lifestyle
A custom home begins with your life: how your mornings start, where your family gathers, how you welcome friends. We shape every room around those details, then build with care from the ground up.
Every Princeton Homes project begins with a conversation about how you want to live. From there, we guide you through design, selections and construction with one team beside you, so building your home feels as good as living in it.
The Heart Behind Princeton Homes
Martha Landis co-founded Princeton Homes on the belief that a custom home should reflect the people who live in it. After three decades of building across the Lake Norman and greater Charlotte area, Martha's standard remains the foundation of everything we do.
I want every person who builds with us to feel like the house was made for them, because it was.

The Process
Lot Walk
We start by learning how you live. Then we walk your land together, preserving the trees, views and natural character that make it special.
Design
Your home takes shape around your lifestyle, your wish list and your budget, with design guidance at every step.
Selections
You choose finishes and materials with our team beside you, so every detail reflects your style.
Build
Your home is built by an experienced Princeton Homes builder, under Martha Landis's direct oversight.
Close
You walk through your finished home with us, and we remain your Princeton Homes team long after you move in.
A Design Partner Who Starts With Your Land
Princeton Homes partners with Pippin Home Designs, founded by Jenny Pippin in 1987. Pippin designs around the land first: the light, the views, how a site naturally sits, before a single line gets drawn. Her studio calls the result "homes that heal," the same instinct behind how we build.
Building Across
Lake Norman and the Charlotte Area
We build throughout Lake Norman, Mooresville and Greater Charlotte, including Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, Statesville, Sherrills Ford and Denver. Whether you have a lot in mind or are still exploring, we'll help you find the right setting for the way you want to live.
What Our Clients Say
"What really sets them apart is their commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. We never felt like "just another project." Instead, it was clear they took pride in building a home that was truly tailored to our needs and lifestyle."
